Our commitment

Triangle Mortgage is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

• Text and background colors are checked against the WCAG AA contrast minimums.
• The site can be navigated by keyboard, and the focused element is always visibly indicated.
• A skip link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump straight to the main content.
• Pages use real heading structure and landmarks rather than styled text, so assistive technology can navigate them.
• Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Animation is reduced automatically for visitors whose system requests it.
• The layout works down to small screen sizes without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

Our rate calculator is a separate application hosted on its own domain. We hold it to the same standard, but it is a more complex interface and we are still improving it. If you hit a barrier there, please tell us and we will help you get a quote another way — a phone call works just as well.
