What to have ready

Nothing is needed for a rate quote. For a pre-approval, these speed things up considerably.

Recent pay stubs, or two years of returns if you are self-employed.
Two years of W-2s or 1099s.
Recent statements for the accounts holding your down payment.
Photo ID.
For VA loans, your Certificate of Eligibility if you already have it.
